Therapeutic Approaches
My therapeutic presence is warm, inviting, and challenging in a supportive way. I work with individuals—often high achievers—who recognize they need change but feel unsure how to begin. I create a safe and relaxed environment where you can be yourself, have real conversations, and feel seen without judgment. We build insight, explore the mind-body connection, and address concerns based on your unique needs. Together, we refine existing strengths, develop new skills, and help you feel more grounded and confident in your decision-making.Resource links: I can copy the current links for "Crisis Support" and "60 Affirmations" from the fruitedlife site. However, if you have other resources or new links you'd prefer to use, please let me know.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It helps clients recognize unhelpful patterns and learn practical ways to respond differently.
My approach: I use CBT to help high-achieving individuals identify the beliefs that fuel anxiety, perfectionism, and difficulty setting boundaries. Together, we uncover the internal dialogue that keeps you feeling stuck and practice skills that increase clarity and confidence in your decision-making.
Areas of focus: Anxiety, stress management, overthinking, boundary struggles.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)
MI helps people resolve ambivalence, strengthen motivation, and move toward meaningful change in a way that feels authentic and self-directed.
My approach: I use MI as a collaborative conversation style—warm, inviting, and gently challenging—to help clients understand what they truly want and what keeps them from moving toward it. I help clients clarify their values and make decisions from a place of empowerment rather than fear or pressure.
Areas of focus: Behavior change, indecisiveness, building self-trust, lifestyle habits.

Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT)
Solution-Focused Therapy emphasizes your strengths, resources, and what’s already working rather than dwelling solely on the problem.
My approach: I use SFT to help clients reconnect with strengths they may have forgotten or minimized. I help people build or rediscover skills so they can feel more in control—without self-judgment—and create immediate, meaningful shifts in their daily life.
Areas of focus: Motivation, goal-setting, transitions, rediscovering confidence.

Embodied / Mind-Body Approaches
Embodied approaches help clients understand how emotions, stress, and past experiences live in the body. This strengthens self-awareness and deepens healing.
My approach: As an embodied care therapist, I help clients tune into bodily cues, regulate their nervous system, and build a healthier relationship with their emotions and physical self. I incorporate grounding, breathwork, posture awareness, and gentle exploration of sensations to link the mind and body in a meaningful way.
Areas of focus: Anxiety, body image, emotional regulation, stress stored in the body.

Trauma-Informed Care
Trauma-informed therapy acknowledges the impact of past experiences on how you think, feel, and relate to others today. It centers safety, empowerment, and choice.
My approach: I meet clients exactly where they are emotionally, never pushing faster than they’re ready to go. I integrate grounding tools and body-based awareness to support the mind-body connection, allowing clients to safely explore parts of themselves they haven’t been able to access before.
Areas of focus: Childhood experiences, relational trauma, body-based stress responses.

Holistic & Culturally-Grounded Care
This approach views each person as a whole—mind, body, culture, identity, and environment.
My approach: I conceptualize clients holistically, honoring the identities, experiences, and cultural contexts that shape who they are. I help people explore how their personal history, values, and relationships influence their current challenges. I also bring myself into the room authentically, using examples, humor, and shared experiences to make therapy feel safe, relatable, and human.
Areas of focus: Identity exploration, boundary setting, work–life balance, relationship patterns.
